Built by studio people, for studio people

We started Parlor because we were tired of tools that didn't understand our industry. So we built one that does.

Our story

Parlor started in 2024 inside a tattoo studio in Melbourne. The owner was drowning in DMs, juggling spreadsheets for bookings, chasing deposits via bank transfer, and losing leads because messages got buried in Instagram.

Every "CRM" on the market was built for real estate agents or car dealerships. None of them understood the workflow of a tattoo studio — the consultation process, the consent forms, the deposit dance, the way artists need their own pipeline.

We didn't set out to build software. We set out to fix the chaos in our own studio. Parlor is what happened when we refused to accept that "this is just how it is."

Today, Parlor is in early access — open to founding members across Australia and New Zealand. Tattoo parlours, beauty salons, piercing studios, and barber shops. We're still small, still independent, and still obsessed with building the best studio management tool in the world.

We don't take venture capital. We don't have a sales team. Studios find us because other studios tell them about us. That's the way we like it.

What we believe

Studio-first, always

Every feature we build starts with a real problem a studio owner told us about. We don't build for investors or analysts — we build for the people using it every day.

Simple beats clever

If your apprentice can't figure it out in 5 minutes, we've failed. We obsess over simplicity so your team actually uses the tool instead of working around it.

Bootstrapped and proud

We're funded by our customers, not VCs. That means we answer to studio owners, not shareholders. We grow at the pace our customers need, not at the pace investors demand.

Behind Parlor

A small, independent team building something we believe in.
