Agreement to terms
By accessing or using Parlor ("the Service"), operated by Parlor Studio Pty Ltd (ABN pending) ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
Description of service
Parlor is a cloud-based studio management platform designed for tattoo studios, beauty salons, and similar businesses. The Service includes lead management, booking, client communication, payments, reporting, and related tools.
Account registration
To use Parlor, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Acceptable use
You agree to use Parlor only for lawful business purposes. You must not:
- Use the Service to store or transmit illegal content
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
- Use the Service in a way that could damage, disable, or impair it
- Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission
- Use automated means to access the Service (bots, scrapers)
Your data
You retain ownership of all data you upload to Parlor (client records, images, messages, etc.). We do not claim any ownership of your content. You grant us a limited licence to host, display, and process your data solely to provide the Service.
Payment and billing
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually as selected. Prices are in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated. We may change pricing with 30 days' written notice. If you cancel, you retain access until the end of your current billing period.
Free trial and early access
We may offer free trials or early access programmes. These are provided "as is" and may be modified or discontinued at any time. Early access users may experience features that are still in development.
Service availability
We aim to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance with reasonable notice. We are not liable for downtime caused by factors outside our control.
Intellectual property
The Parlor platform, including its design, code, and brand, is our intellectual property. Your subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for your business operations.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Parlor's total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Termination
You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms, with notice where practicable. Upon termination, you may export your data within 30 days.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.
Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
